Korean Cuisine

Korean cuisine is very popular in Japan.

We have them not only at restaurants, but also at home by cooking them ourselves.

The other day, I cooked Korean crepes.

But it’s ideal to have the genuine Korean cuisine at the home.

So lots of tourists visit Korea to have delicious cuisine.

However, as each restaurant writes cuisines in different ways, tourists are confused to understand them.

So with cooperation from some Korean government agencies, the notation of 124 cuisines was unified into a common way.

It contains information about ingredients and recipes in details.

So far, it’s written in English, Chinese and Japanese.

They are planning to write it in French and Spanish.

Stray Dove

Yesterday, when Ami was taking in the washing, she found a young dove on the veranda. 目exclamation

As the dove didn’t fly out, Ami thought it strange.

The dove looked no injured.

But it couldn’t fly.

We guessed it was on the practice to fly.

Then we consulted with a veterinary surgeon what we should do for the stray dove.

He required us not to do anything.

Because if we touch it and feed it, parent birds never approach the stray dove because of our smell and the dove may stay on the veranda forever.

So we did nothing except watching it.

At night, the dove was still there in a crouch.

But this morning, it had left the veranda.

We have to clean its droppings.

School trip

Fall is the best season for travelling in Japan.

The weather is calm.

And you can see colored leaves.

So most elementary school, junior and senior high school students go on school trips.

It’s called shugaku ryoko in Japanese.

Its purpose is to see historical places and cultural treasures.

So Kyoto and Nara are very popular.

Some students have been to Kyoto two or three times for school trips.

But unfortunately, I’ve never been to Kyoto for school trips, as well as personal trips.

Instead, I went to kyushuu and tohoku districts.雪

Those districts also have interesting places to see.

Recently, some schools go on trips to Asian countries and even all the way Canada and Australia.

Fraud

Yesterday, I went to a bank to open an account. 銀行

I hadn’t expected it would take so long.

But a bank clerk asked me some questions- my purpose, a source of money and a period of time for keeping my money.

Then the clerk explained the reason.

Recently, the number of frauds making people transfer money to an account has been increasing in Japan.

So banks ask such questions to prevent accounts from being used for frauds.

A typical example is following.

A swindler phones an old person and poses as the person’s son or grandson. 電話

Then the swindler explains his bad situation, for example, having a traffic accident or making a big failure in business.

After that, he makes the old person transfer money.
