Today I took Hachi to a veterinary hospital to have a vaccination and be tested for filaria. 犬病院

But there’s nothing to worry about.

Both are annual treatments.

The vaccination is against rabies, which is originally a disease of dogs or foxes.

But Human also contracts the disease when we are bitten by the rabies dog.

Filaria is a parasitic worm in dog’s heart.

it is contagious by mosquite, so we have to give medicine to our dogs once a month during the warm seasons.

In our area it’s from April to November. 晴れ

There are another vaccine we should give them.

To give these treatments is our obligation.
